Henry County Country Club -- getting better every year
Review by: Rob Gault This course gets better every year. Management has purchased some newer maintenance equipment in the last few years and the greenskeeping crew is fabulous. They added fairway sprinkler systems a few years ago and also paved cart paths throughout the course. As for the par five holes, only the first is a real challenge. The last three are definite birdie opportunities. The par threes are the opposite. Only hole 14 is a short par 3, two of the others are all carry 230+ and the last is nearly 200 yards with two bunkers that are ball magnets. Probably the best value I have seen in golf!

Lexington Country Club -- Tough but Fair
Review by: Kevin Ford This course offers a lot of different situations which will challenge both the scratch golfer and the weekend warrior alike. The course's biggest challenges are the many trees that punish you if you do not hit it in the fairway and the greens that are soft but lightening fast. Lexington Country Club is set in the middle of historic Paris Pike among the horse farms to give you that Central Kentucky peaceful feeling. The staff was pleasant and helpful especially a young woman working in the pro shop. If you ever get the opportunity or invitation from an existing member, I highly recommend this course to anyone meandering through the Bluegrass area. Do enjoy!
