| Alling Memorial Golf Course -- This course is bleh! | ||
| Review by: Bill H. | Its short easy and boring to play, not kept in good shape and construction begins this summer, three holes at a time to rennovate. Local rules permit the making of your own lie anywhere all summer because the course is is a basen and all the water from rain funnels to the 4th 14th holes. Terrable design for Connecticut and way too easy to be a Westfield Jr. PGA qualifier course. A longer driver (270+) can drive the 5th, 8th, and 9th greens 5 approx. 200 yards and 8 + 9 about 300 yards (all par 4's). The back is a little more interesting but no harder, good scores are a given at this simple and easy par 72 | |

| Course at Yale, The -- Great course | ||
| Review by: RDB | Probably, apart from the 18th hole, one of the best courses I've ever played layout and course design-wise. This golf course, in good condition (which is currently the case), ranks among the best courses I have ever played. As a test of golf, from the back tees, it is a 10 out of 10. What a treat. | |

| Alling Memorial Golf Course -- Could be a nice track | ||
| Review by: Anonymous | Well, it's a muni; can't expect great things. Don't play in the heat--no water coolers on the course. Dry and burnt out. Plus side is there's alot of work being done. About 2 or 3 years it should be a nice little place to play | |
