My day at the New York Country Club was indeed enjoyable. While the price seemed high for a round, I feel that it was worth it. The higher price kept hackers off the course, and the quality of people I delt with was first class. The course itself was challanging and obviously well played, but didn't stop it from good condition. To sum up this course, I can only say its a great, comfortable place to play a round of golf. I will definatly be back. |

Good course. Not great or memorible. Holes 9 & 10 are jokes, straight uphill # 9 is too steep, #10 is driveable par 4 that will hurt someone eventually. Overpriced, will be public one day. |

I AM SPENDING A FEW WEEKS IN THE METROPOLITAN AREA AND I AM TRYING TO PLAY A VARIETY OF COURSES. I SAW AN ADD ON TV FOR THIS CLUB AND THE ADD DID INDUCE ME TO PLAY. IT WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. I WAS VERY LET DOWN. THE COURSE SHOULD BE CLOSED FOR A PERIOD OF TIME TO LET THE OWNERS MAKE UP THEIR MIND WHAT KIND OF COURSE AND FACILITY THEY WANT. MUNICIPAL COURSE ARE KEPT IN BETTER SHAPE. THE COURSE HAS POTENTIAL TO BE A FIRST CLASS LAYOUT BUT MUCH WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PLAY 2 ROUNDS ELSEWHERE. |
