Candlewood Valley Country Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Candlewood Valley Country Club --
Review by: Ken Kusen The course is is very good shape. The pro? shop attendent was rude and the course manager was even worse. I would not return if the green fee was free. This used to be my favorite course. I moved away and returned after seven years to a disaster. Definately not professionally run. Ken Kusen

Ridgefield Golf Course -- played here many times.
Review by: local resident Absence of fairway bunkers may indicate an easy course, but the size of the greens (generally small), and proximity of trees to the fairways requires accurate approaches and drives. Mature greens and fairways -- ball can be played 'down' May thru October. Sand traps are inconsistent; tee boxes could be larger; moderately hilly; water on eight holes (2 on front, 6 on back). Good variety in layout from hole to hole, each requiring different strategy. The 'slope' of this course underrates it. Low handicappers can shoot their handicap, others may struggle.
