Powelton Club, The -- Enjoyable course and a fair test
Review by: Simon Fothergill The day we played was very wet, yet the course drained exceptionally well. The course isn't too long though undulations throughout the course and being very well kept ensured a challenging test. The layout is excellent with a good distribution of par 3's and 5's. There are a few streams that come into play and the bunkers are well placed to punish poor shots, though the couple of lakes sadly pose no threat. Well worth a trip!

Griffins' Greens -- A local treasure
Review by: Jack Griffins Greens is staffed by some of the nicest people you'd care to meet. The owners are constantly seeking new ways to make this course better. As for the course itself, there are a number of holes which are fair to beginners and intermediates, yet challenge the experts too. Shotmaking skills are at a premium, as the holes range from short and quirky, to long and demanding. Great course!
