The "Championship" course of Deer Run is one of the best deals in the area. My city fathers here in Va.Beach should stand up and take notice. A decent course, some hills, some water and some distance is challenging for my weekend partners. If I remember the price was around $28 - 30 and that was with a cart. (it would be 15 to 20 more to play in VaBeach and the course wouldn't be as nice. |

Immaculate fairways and receptive greens await you at JRCC. Can't find a course in better condition on the peninsula outside of Williamsburg.
One might even catch Curtis Strange practicing while at home from the PGA Tour.
View of James River makes hole 18 a delight to play.
