Played this course twice while in Wilkesboro, once in July and again in November. The course plays short but shot selection is key. Conditions are great around greens, and the fairways, elevation changes, and occasional creeks give you that natural North Carolina Golfing feel. The best part was I played 18 holes and a cart for $14. It's hard to beat for the money. |

Shot placement is key to this "not too long" course. Being a better iron player, I found that playing this course was totally enjoyable! The scenery is fantastic, and the staff is very professional. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in good shape, and the water holes, especially the par threes, were just plain fun! The facilities are first rate, including the "on site" hotel. Recommend this course for people who just enjoy a great day of fun golf! |
