Sacandaga Golf Club -- A friendly little course
Review by: Paul M This is a nice place to play golf. The greens are small, but they are in good shape. The greens are slower than you would like to see, but you get used to them. The people that run the course are very friendly, and the people that play the course are great as well.

Chenango Valley State Golf Course -- I Love This Course
Review by: Spring Creek I have played this course for 40 years. It was one of the first I ever played. But even though I moved away from the area 25 years ago, I still play it whenever I can. Deer and turkey are not uncommon sights as you play this course that was cut out of a forest. The course has just the right combination of difficult holes. Number 4, a par 5, is one of the most difficult holes I have ever played. Truly a nasty brute. Number 8; at 85 yards is probably the shortest par 3 I have ever played on a legitimate golf course. However, it is not all that easy to par because of the severely sloping green. In my opinion Chenango Valley is a joy to play and for the money you will not get a better value anywhere.
