Lake Chabot Municipal Golf Course - Short Course -- *Great views/not so great greens*
Review by: Shane	This is a great little par 3 course with some awesome views of the bay at an elevated tee (4th hole) The greens are covered with clover and are very fast. This is the best par 3 course I've played (only played a few) especially costing only $8.

Review by: Anonymous	Lake Chabot GC is a fine old layout... don't be fooled by the yardage, it's a challenging 6000 yards for anybody... Very hilly... Great views... Can get sloppy in winter, but otherwise, reasonably will kept and an enjoyable 4 hours...

Review by: Anonymous	The Claremont CC is very well maintained and packs plenty of challenge into a relative short track. However, the good conditioning, trees and terrain make it very enjoyable. Used many of the clubs in my bag and found the narrow fairways and small greens to be very important to find - otherwise no play! Classic old clubhouse - a terrace that is very inviting for drinks - active family area around the pool and good looking tennis facility. Don't let the total yards fool you into missing a chance to play here.

Accuracy off the tee is more important than length as the fairways are lined with colorful trees. The small greens are surrounded by well-placed bunkers and then the real fun begins. The greens are fast, unless you have a downhill putt and then they are super-fast. Since the greens are so true, there are plenty of opportunities for one-putts, but also three-putts due to speed and breaks. Relaxed social atmosphere of club makes for a fun day. Pros, lead by Danny Mulhearn, are terrific golfers and teachers.

kern river is a very nice course. my favorite hole is hole # 9 the par three i think it is about 175-180 yards. im only 13 and i hit over the green about 10-15 yards away from the clubhouse.anywase the golf course is really cool has alot of nice views.

For those of you who think this course is a pitch and putt course....come and try it out. It offers a lot of challenge and precision. It is by far one of the most beautiful courses in West Michigan. I travel yearly specifically to play this course and have for years. I play courses all over Michigan and Wisconsin and this one ranks in my top 10 for challenge and fun.
