This was one of the most challenging courses I have ever played at, but one of the more enjoyable at the same time. The scenery is breathtaking and you can almost hear the roaring crowds in the grandstands from past majors as you walk the par 3's and 18th hole. I recommend playing this course if you know a member, because I promise you, won't be dissapointed. The caddies here are also some of the best in the nation. |

I found this course and county club to be quite exciting. The main reason for this was because of one stand out individual. This man was Brad Irle, he introduced me to the realm that is Danville Country Club. Never before have I ever fathomed in any of my wildest, most exotic dreams to see such a plethora of food placed before me. After an enivorating and exciting round Brad and I stopped into the 19th whole to wet our whistles with a tasty tripple Gin and Tonic. I thank you Danville for all the memories I have, and the future visits that I look forward to. |
