Review by: Leland Baxter	Ok course. During summer, fairways roll forever, 350+ yard drives are not uncommon... During winter, fairways are muddy and soggy, they cant mow, so its basically like playing in the rough all day, also has a tendency to plug.

Cold Springs Golf & Country Club -- *Good Course Bad Memebr*
Review by: Anonymous	I played this course in January for the first time and it was great. The course plays a lot harder than seems when looking at the scorecard, greens were in great shape and fairways wernt too bad, good challenging ruff. Golf Course assistant pro was very nice, while the Staff was als nice the Golf Professional Keith Radar was Very Nice. He was extremely helpfull, unliek some of staff was very clean and has a great sense of humor. I cant wait till i can have the expeiriance to go back.

Bass Rocks Golf Club
"A Classic golf Course"
Bass Rocks in my opinion is an ideal kind of golf course. Every time you play is different. The winds off the ocean can be a help at times. However, other times it can play havoc with your game. The course forces you to play almost every kind of shot there is. From high flops to knock downs, it will test your game. The staff is second to none. Friendly and always willing to offer a tip or two that will help make your round more enjoyable. The members make you feel right at home. Like they have known you for years, even if you just met. In my personal opinion, every town should have a club like Bass Rocks.

Oakmont Country Club
"Tough but Fair"
Oakmont is a picturesque layout in the foothills of Glendale with lovely mountain views. The course is an old-style country club layout which rewards well planned out shotmaking. The greens are usually very fast and reward players for being below the hole. The Pac-10 Conference Championship was held at Oakmont in 2003 and only two players broke par (288) in a field of 50. The players found the par 3's particularly challenging. The greens are very well protected with sand bunkers and the fairways are heavily tree-lined. Best time to play Oakmont is in the spring and fall. I find the twelfth hole to be the most challenging. It is a 420 yard par four, uphill and terraced. The green is long and narrow, two-tiered and protected by a large bunker on the right and a drop-off hill and trees on the left.
