Oak Grove Country Club -- fair, fun and funky
Review by: greg scott born and raised in oxford, I now live in "the golf capital of the world"(palm beach gardens, fl). however, I always enjoy going home to this course where I learned(tho still being educated) the game. the greens are small and with many breaks compared to our typical florida layouts, so your short game is the key. and while not long, local knowledge assists on where to place your drive. many times I have played ping pong on the oak lined par-five 16th hole, ruining a round on cruise control till then. the course record is 64, despite the many excellent local golfers and the sharks who come out from lafayette, too. the atmosphere is friendly and give my best to the pro, john messner, who like me grew up on this course.

White Hawk Country Club -- Better than others around
Review by: Rosie I have golfed at White Hawk for the past three summers and have found it to be a challenging three courses. With black being the hardest it is to the difficult level of a 5-10 handicap player. On average I should in the high 70's and find some days more challenging then others depending on pin placement. But if you are a golf with great accuracy then this course will be almost no match for you. For if you are able to stay in the farways even par is something insight. The course itself is taken care of very nicely and almost all of the employees are friendly. Overall it is my favorite course in the area.
