| Oak Grove Country Club -- fair, fun and funky | ||
| Review by: greg scott | born and raised in oxford, I now live in "the golf capital of the world"(palm beach gardens, fl). however, I always enjoy going home to this course where I learned(tho still being educated) the game. the greens are small and with many breaks compared to our typical florida layouts, so your short game is the key. and while not long, local knowledge assists on where to place your drive. many times I have played ping pong on the oak lined par-five 16th hole, ruining a round on cruise control till then. the course record is 64, despite the many excellent local golfers and the sharks who come out from lafayette, too. the atmosphere is friendly and give my best to the pro, john messner, who like me grew up on this course. | |

| Plum Creek Country Club -- Incredibly Manicured | ||
| Review by: Jeff Yarbrough | If you are looking for a less than difficult course, then you must play. The course is incredibly manicured and taken care of. The pros are great to deal with as well. Not bad for unde $50 a game weekdays. | |
