Featured Golf Course Review:
Recreation Park South -- Little Rec
Review by: GaryL Across the street from its big sister, this 9 hole course is very nice. Weekend green fees are under $15 for residents. On the south east side of Long Beach, the course has varying terrain, a nice 5 par over water, and two or three decent par 4s. The course is well kept, jammed on weekends. Carts are available but most players walk. Small club house, grill, beer, etc.

Pennrose Park Country Club -- A Tiny Gem for Donald Ross
Review by: Doug Groseclose Donald Ross designed this 9-hole jewel in the 1920's. It has several tough holes and a number of beauties. Ross used the rolling central NC terrain nicely on this course.

Lake Park Golf Course -- Great place to learn the game!
Review by: Laura I'm a woman in her 40's who first learned how to play the game at Lake Park 10 years ago. While I kept playing for many years, recently a back injury made it impossible for me to play. Now that I'm better, I can't wait to play again at Lake Park to re-initiate myself to the game and introduce new friends to the game!
