I may be biased as The Legends Course at Parris Island is also my home course but it ranks among the best values in northern Beaufort county. Fairways and greens are kept in great shape year round, overseeded in November and consistently mowed. The course is located on a Marine Corps training base and civilians will need both a tee time (call the pro shop) and a pass, available at the main gate. Be sure to have a photo ID, car registration and proof of auto insurance.
Tee times are readily available, even on weekends.
