Paso Robles Golf Club -- Hope you're accurate
Review by: DC This is a very nice course, but the location makes it a little distracting. It is in the middle of a neigborhood, with little (or at times, *nothing*) separating your misplaced slice and someone's backyard (or worse, someone's back window!). There are virtually no hills, but a lot of water. The greens are very soft and the fairways are in good condition.

Westwinds Golf Course -- HARDER THAN APPEARS
Review by: ERICK ADELMANN THIS NINE-HOLE COURSE IS THE BEST THAT I HAVE PLAYED IN SO. CAL. THE FIRST HOLE IS A VERY MAKEABLE PAR-4. SECOND HOLE IS A VERY HARD PAR-4. 3RD HOLE IS A PAR-3 AND HAS AN ELEVATED TEE BOX. 4TH IS A LONG DOWNHILL PAR-5 THAT IS MAKEABLE IN 2-3 BUT HAS A HARD TO READ GREEN. 5TH IS AN UPHILL PAR-4. 6TH IS ANOTHER UPHILL PAR-5 THAT IS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO PAR WITH AN ELEVATED GREEN. 7TH IS A PAR-3 THAT IS ABOUT LEVEL WITH THE TEE BUT IS SEPARATED BY A VALLEY. 8TH IS A PAR-4 THAT IS A GREAT HOLE TO LAUNCH IT. IT IS A STRAIGHT FAIRWAY THAT IS UPHILL THAT TRANSITIONS INTO A DOWNHILL APPROACH. THE 9TH IS A MEDIUM TO HARD PAR-4 THAT ENDS UP AT THE CLUBHOUSE. ALL IN ALL THIS A VERY NICE COURSE WITH VERY NICE PEOPLE IN THE CLUBHOUSE. TESS'S CAFE IS LOCATED HERE AS WELL AND HAS VERY GOOD FOOD (TRY THE CHEESEBURGER).
