| Brandywine Country Club - Par 3 Course -- Beautiful Course - Very Scenic |
| Review by: Mike and Debbie |
This is a fairly short course, even for a par 3, but it is hilly and includes two holes "in the woods" along side the river. The scenery is absolutely beautiful as the course is adjacent to the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area.
The facilities were great with golf ball washers on about every hole and cold water on the way to the 5th tee.
My wife, who is a novice golfer, and I really enjoyed the course. We went over after work around 6 and finished before 8 with plenty of daylight left. We plan to go back several more times this summer. |

| Bellwood Country Club -- Consistent Play In A Comfortable Setting |
| Review by: Larry Redwine |
Bel-Wood Country Club is nestled in a woodsy remote area northeast of Cincinnati just minutes away from Kings Island Amusement Park and The Beach Water Park. An affordable private club, Bel-Wood has plush fairways, playable rough, properly maintained traps and consistent greens. The front nine is longer than the back and makes walking realistic for the 50+ crowd (par 36). The back nine is more hilly, but shorter (par 34). There is avoidable trouble on most holes, with a risk-reward factor on a few. Water can come into play on 6 holes. Like nearby Golf Center at Kings Island, this course says: "You get what you see". The top handicap holes add the dimension of a degree of tightness with distance. Par threes are beatable for an above average golfer, while the par fives are relatively long or play steeply uphill. The courses signature hole lies in the midst of scenic beauty with an obvious risk/reward challenge. The staff is warm and accommodating. The food is typically tasty and affordable. This course is well worth a look. I came away anxious to go back SOON. |
