Furnace Bay Golf Course -- Pleasant Golf
Review by: Ffio7532 This course is a joy to play with your significant other. It is as scenic as any course around. Bird-life abounds with swans, eagles ducks, etc. on view to the watcher. Amtrak and Aberdeen, Md. Proving Grounds make up background sounds that are, to me, anyway, pleasantly interesting diversions. It is surpising to me that so many trains go by during the eighteen holes. There are many interesting holes that you enjoy playing, especially the dog-legs. I have only played this course in the winter so I can't relate to the heat, humidity and bugs of summer.

Congressional Country Club - Gold Course -- Great experience
Review by: jk Congressional is a terrific experience and should not be missed given the opportunity. The Gold course was available for guest play, and I certainly have no complaints (maybe another time the "blue" course). The holes had a good variety of terrain and demanded a variety of shots to score. Particularily the back nine. Surprisingly the course seemed remote even in the high density population center of Bethesda. No houses or roads or distractions were evident. Overall one of the best golfing experiences I have had in 30 years. My only regret is the lack of opportunity to play it again given that invitations are limited , and I live 3K miles removed here in Portland, Oregon.
