Golf Club at Cumberland Lake, The -- *PEACEFUL GOLF*
Review by: JAY	I HAVE PLAYED THIS COURSE TWO TIMES. THE LANDSCAPE IS VERY PRETTY,THE FAIRWAYS ARE WIDER THAN SOME COURSES I HAVE PLAYED,THE GREENS ARE VERY,VERY FAST BUT BIG AS WELL.THERE IS SEVRAL HOLES WITH BUNKERS,BUT I LIKE THE WAY THE WATER PLAYS INTO THE GAME ON SERVAL HOLES.OVER ALL THIS IS A VERY WELL LAID OUT COURSE.I HIGHLY RECOMNED PLAYING THIS COURSE IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE.

Eufaula Country Club -- *Nice course*
Review by: Anonymous	Some fairways are open while others are tight and demand accurate shots. Most of the greens on the front hold shots while the back has harder greens and very little bite. Seventeen requires a shot over water. Be aware of wind swirling in the trees here as it will affect your short iron shot.

Oasis Golf Club - Oasis Course
"Not good any more."
The descripion of this course is 5 to 6 years outdated. It is not connected with the Oasis casino or the Palms golf course. Several of the holes have been changed to allow for more housing. The greens are one notch above sand greens. If you pay more than $50.00 to play it you paid too much.

The greens are well kept and very fast at times. Many are sloped and undulated which makes putting difficult at times. The course is pretty open but has a nice layout.

Bel-Air Country Club
"Fantastic walk in a high class park"
I really liked this course. The view south toward L.A. and Santa Monica Blvd from the first tee is really quite spectacular. The course is neatly carved into the hills of Bel-Air. It is a short course, requiring good shot-making, but one on which you can "go low" if you hit the tee-ball straight (don't even need driver on several holes), hit your short irons well, and tap it with your putter. These greens were fast I thought and several were small to boot. And they told me that they were mowing them high. Whew! I three-putted three times on the front. A player faces elevation changes throughout the course, but particularly on relatively long par threes on the back side - 10, 13, 16. The single par 5 on the back is a very long straight away hole with a steep hill to the right and a stream to the left. If you're in the groove, it looks like a runway and makes you want to swing away from the tee and go for the green in two. Long hole though and green is well-guarded by traps. The surrounding "real estate" adds to the views. Playing with someone who knows the history makes the round a very interesting experience. A lot of fun...would love to play it again.

Don't let the yardage fool you. This is one course where you'll use every club in your bag. On the short 138yd par 3 8th hole, get on the wrong side of the green and good luck making par...you'll need it. From the railroads that cuts across the course to the small doomed green, your in for a great day, if you can find par that is....
