| Westbrook Hills Golf Course -- Great for that jump from par 3 to full length!!! |
| Review by: Brian Zins |
A friendly little course, located in the friendly little town of Plain, Wisconsin. Despite the small town atmosphere, the golf course itself is surprisingly well maintained. Fairways are wide, yet with some challenge. Greens can be fast at times, but are fair. No sand, but water hazards do lurk about. Par is 32 for all 9 holes, since there are no par 5's to be found. Rates are comparable to par 3 layouts. Overall, I feel this is a great place for the whole family. Simple enough for the beginner, yet with enough challege to keep the better play awake! To top it off, all at a price where you CAN afford to take the whole family! My only complain it that the clubhouse does have room for improvement. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! |

| Merrill Golf Club -- Beautiful golf for a modest penny |
| Review by: Anonymous |
I live in central wisconsin and have played most of the courses around. Merrill is definately my choice course... it's extreemly well tended, designed well in a beautiful setting, and very modestly priced. The putting/chipping green is large and in excellent condition.
It's a friendly, relaxed place without snobs and jerks. There's also a good restaurant at the clubhouse. This course is definately the pride of Merrill. If you get a chance, come and shoot a round. If you only have time for 9, take the front. It's older and has a little more character and challenge than the flatter, more open back. But all 18 holes have their merrit. |
