Edgewood Golf Course

Featured Golf Course Review:
Edgewood Golf Course -- Hometown course
Review by: David Cline Edgewood is a good course. The first hole is wide open and lets you swing away. #2 is a scenic hole. Revamped the course a few years ago to make it longer. Miss old hole #6 and it dog leg right. Club house offers adequate food and drink for the turn.

Cress Creek Country Club -- Diamond in the rough
Review by: Arnie P. This is one of the old american style courses that on the surface seems benign until you take the route and discover the well placed traps, and mature trees that from the tee look beautiful then loom larger than a 10 story building just because you're 2 feet off the fairway. The greens are smooth fast and hard making the normal wedge or short iron shot play like a 2 iron approach. Putting is dream like on these velvet surfaces, rolling true and making reading a little adventure. AFter a few times you can understand the nuances of where the breaks go to and where to aim to try to assure you won't 3 putt. Play from the blues at 6300 yards is almost more challenging than the back tees because of the seemingly shorter approaches that that harder greens won't accept like your muni at home. It's in great shape after a rennovation due to the clubhouse reconstruction where infrastructure was upgraded and a few improvements are being made to 1, 9, 10 and the practice range. Kudos to the grounds staff for a great job.
