Pompey Club, The -- A fun, challenging golf course, great views.
Review by: Sandra Masterson On several occasions I have had an opportunity to play this course. The course is at a higher elevation so if you play it in the spring make sure to bring extra layers. Each hole is quite interesting with many green and tee elevations that vary. The fairways are generous and very well taken care of. Many trees that only come into play on a few holes. The proshop knows how to assist on events so that your play is kept moving. The attentive staff in the restaurant always delivers a fun and enjoyable lunch or dinner. The menu is simple but offers many choices that will again get you though with out a long wait for service. I will be joining this course in 2005 and look forward to playing there.

Cedar River Golf Club -- Most scenic in adirondacks!
Review by: Tedd I know that phraze is overused, but for this course it is an understatement. Mountains, river and wildlife abound on this moderate 9 hole course. The price is right (under $15 for 9) to take the whole family. Course offers some challenges like a 500 yard + third hole to the 9th where you must hit up a steep 40 foot hill to a blind green. Oh, and enjoy the putting on 6!
