Poplar Golf Course -- *an awesome course!*
Review by: John	Is a great beginners course, the greens fees are VERY reasonable, the scenery is beautiful. The back nine is challenging, full of curves and is narrow...enjoyable. Front nine is wide open, rolling hills and challinging river to play over. The clubhouse is welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly, 5 star service at this course! Often have coupon offers; A friend of mine told me to just go and ask if they had any coupon specials, it was only FIFTEEN dollars for unlimited golf and INCLUDED a gas cart! That's just crazy! I recommend this course!

Big Oaks Golf Club -- *Below average rates, but below average conditions*
Review by: RJB	Pretty much what you�d expect from a sub $30 course. I would call the layout gently rolling. Tee boxes weren�t in good condition and some were not level in spots. Fairways were in decent condition, but greens were bad � more sand than grass at times (this could be due to our harsh summer this year, I may consider giving them another try sometime when weather conditions are better). Not many sand traps on the course, but the ones I noticed weren�t groomed and so were compacted like concrete. Overall it�s definitely playable as a cheap course but I wouldn�t consider it a �great value� course � Its fees are consistent with its conditions.
