A challenging nine holer. Very firm fairways due to a clay base, makes hitting the ball clean, a must. Driving over a pond on the first hole is intimidating and may require the not so skilled golfer to lay up, and take a longer secoind shot. Not necessarily a bad choice.
Throw in a couple of par 5's with narrow fairays, a couple of tee shots through some narrow tree lined openings , a very reasonable price and there you have it, a fun day on the links.
All in all, a nice course with a helpful staff, and with a laid back feeling that takes off the "rush rush" pressure that the big courses give, makes golfing here a very pleasurable time. |
