Port Jefferson Country Club at Harbor Hills -- Beautiful Course
Review by: jimmy This golf course is one of the hardest on long island. Brace yourself for the real challenge awaits. with the water hazard at the 1st and the 18th hole, the rolling hills and the extremly fast greens.

Country Club of Rochester -- "Toughest 6400 yards I've ever played!!!"
Review by: John R. Ryan An oft repeated claim, CCR has everything any confident golfer could want. I'ts stately trees, natural brooks and beauty make for a challenging and exciting day. When the annual invitational draws the best local and national college amateurs to it's historic confines, par is very rarely broken. Host to the first ever U.S. Women's Open in 1960, the club repeated as host in 1973 only to prove overly difficult, at that time, to it's eager challengers. Fabulous memoribilia (including Walter Hagen's prize putter) decorate a welcoming, yet beatifully appointed Club House that will instigate lively discussions and fond memories among it's fortunate visitors. Traditional in every sense, CCR is a tribute to the origins of "Goffe" in the United States. (When in doubt, most putts break to the Fire House.)
