I grew up in Powell, and can tell you first hand that this course is tough. Tight narrow fairways on the back nine, with lots and lots of trees. A type of desert course on the the front, open, but hazards will get you. I have seen this course mature over the years, it is a nice golf course, one I would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice round of golf. |

Although this golf course has potential, it is seriously lacking in professional management, and amenities. What the course lacks in modern conveniences, it makes up for in stagnant water, biting insects, stunted trees, and a very unhospitable staff. If you're looking to hit golfballs in a farmers field, this is the course for you. |
