Featured Golf Course Review:
| Wilds Golf Club, The -- Replace your divits and fix your ball marks! |
| Review by: Mark |
The layout of this course is similar to that of many modern courses, i.e., designed to sell homes. There are some good holes and some that appear a bit contrived. A fun course over-all.
I was shocked to see the early-season condition of the course. Ball marks not repaired, bunkers not groomed, hundreds of divots not filled. At my course, I walk and carry a sand bottle, filling it 2-3 times during each 9 holes. No sand on the carts, and none on the tee boxes. The feeling was more 'muni' golf than that of an upscale public course. |

| Goodrich Golf Course -- Well maintained course with some fun holes |
| Review by: Jeff B. |
It's not Augusta and doesn't approach the drama of anything by Robert Trent Jones, but it's a well-maintained, inexpensive course that has a sensible design. Overall its a wide-open course that is pretty forgiving but isn't boring either.
I'm giving it four stars not because its a great course but because it does well what it is supposed to do - give you an economical, playable course.
If you're looking for a public course with a little more history and style, try Keller which is just a couple of miles away. |
