East Bay Golf Course - Championship Course -- Good but smelly
Review by: Anonymous
This course offers a wide variety of challenges and and an executive course to polish up your short game, but it's location on an old landfill and its proximity to a sewage treatment plant barely make it worth it. The wrong kind of wind can make it unbearable to breathe, much less concentrate. |

East Bay Golf Course - Championship Course -- New Changes for 2005
Review by: Brett Watson
Having played East Bay for several years, I'm sure that anyone playing it again this year will notice a significant difference in your experience of years past. The Kuhni's rendering plant has now moved to central Utah and away from Provo. The smell that has plaqued the golf course in the past is now gone. People have thought that the smell came from other places when in fact it was from Kuhni's. Now that they are gone, East Bay is one of the premier Golfer's Golf Courses. It's not for the weak-at-heart golfer. With water coming in to play on almost every hole, it will challenge the best players. This year the course has looked more beautiful than ever and I love playing it (when it's not too hot outside).
