Featured Golf Course Review:
Lost Plantation Golf Club -- Fall 2003
Review by: Average golfer Course was in very good shape. Fair test of golf for the average player. Wide fairways. Soft greens. I enjoyed my round at the course.

Cherokee Run Golf Club -- Cherokee Run - don't "run" from it; "WALK" away
Review by: Tom I travel to Atlanta frequently. This course was fun and easy to play from the men's tees - perhaps playing from the "tips / championship" tees would make it more challenging (but I'm an 18 handicapper). The par 5's are really short. They should reduce the par of this course from 72 to 69 or 70. The only thing challenging was the greens. Club house / pro-staff was a nuisance. Course has a few scenic holes. Course was in descent shape. If you're playing on the East Side of Atlanta, would DEFINITELY recommend Georgia National (about 20 minutes South) over this course. Cherokee Run is not a bad course to play; but not that good either. I wouldn't play it again though.
