On a recent trip to Tucson, we set up tee times at 3 different courses on ezlinks.com. We got discounted rates at Arizona National & Rio Rico, while paying the full price for Tha Golf Club at Vistoso. Arizona National and Vistoso exceeded our expectations of quality desert golf courses. Rio Rico, on the other hand, fell far below our expectations. The course conditions were okay, but this is far from being a desert course, and the surrounding views are marginal when compared with the other courses. There were no directional signs, and there was nobody around to help us find the pro-shop entrance. As we were looking around, obviously not sure where to go, the Pro walked right past us without offering any assistance, or at least a courtesy "hello". We checked in, and were given no instructions as to where the practice facilities were or if we were paired with anyone else. We ran into another player who was driving around aimlessly trying to find the range. It was just totally poor quality service, and certainly nothing like the "4 diamond resort" it is advertised as on the internet. |
