Lafayette Municipal Golf Course -- Nice course - When it's open
Review by: Michael Plake The Lafayette Municipal golf course is a great example of a course that is somewhat undone by virtue of its location. The proximity to the Wabash river makes it necessary for all of the greens to be elevated, since the Wabash floods the course at least once a year. On those rare seasons when the course is open for the entire summer, the course is very lush and the layout is quite formidable. A good opportunity to test one's shot making skills is apparent on every hole due to the elevated greens as well as the variety of hole lengths and doglegs.
