Long Island National Golf Course -- wind wind wind
Review by: MARK Great course. Great shape. The only problem is the people you may play with. Every now and than you get the stuck-up Hampton type. If you can tune that kind of stuff out you will have a great time. My advice would be to play from the tips.

Long Island National Golf Course -- Lots of $$$$
Review by: Fred This was a very frustrating course for an advanced beginner (high 90's). Stay in the fairway or you can kiss you ball good-bye. That's not a problem because it rewards good shot-making. However, the cost is way over the top for what you get. If you haven't played here before, make sure you get the course layout booklet. Otherwise you will have no clue, and there is NO other description available. Did I mention that they charge a premium for that too? Bring your checkbook!

Sandy Pond Par 3 Golf Course -- The perfect setting for a beginning golfer of any age.
Review by: W. Demaria Sandy Pond is perfect for young golfers who are ready to graduate from the driving range and putting green to a real course. Other than senior citizens, most of the threesomes and foursomes are made up of youngsters. The longest holes are about 160 yards but water and sand make the shorter holes quite challenging. The course is also very well maintained.
