if you put your shoes on in the parking lot, and you want to teach the private club fellas a lesson about the grand old game, invite them to bring their games (and attitudes) to rockville's great local muni.
make a mistake and add strokes to your round. manage your game, and your temperment, and put up a good number. the course has always been a top ranked muni, known to locals as a tough and demanding test of golf.
redgate is not for high handicappers: do not tee off from the back tees unless you are a 10 or better, she'll eat you alive.
if you want to play a solid course that will make you manage yourself and you game, try redgate, and when those private club guys wonder how it is they scored well above their posted handicaps, smile and mention that golf is meant to be played, not worshipped. |
