This is a gorgeous course set into the rolling hills of Vermont. The front nine is the original course, its fairly open in general but has some long challenging par-threes. The Back nine is more of a links style course that requires shot placement. A lot of times the better move is to lay up. Overall, beautiful greens, and plush Fairways. A great deal for a course of this quality. |

This beautiful Robert Trent Jones, Sr. course was been revived by the new owners. All it needed was a new irrigation system, some better equipment and some TLC. It's new pro, Jon Rife, knows quality having worked in Nantucket and Vero Beach. It is a challenging but fair course, and the views are really spectacular - especially in foliage. Locals who had left for another course nearby are returning and hoping that the word does not get out.
One tip - the greens break away from the Mountain
