Southglenn Country Club -- *Nice Place to Learn*
Review by: Rick Chapman	This 9 hole walking course is very playable. It has two difficult holes (over 200 yards) and seven holes ranging from 95 yards to 160 yards. The greens are flat, generally soft, roll well, and will hold an average shot, but have a tencancy to be a little inconsistent for putting due to the high volume of play. The course record is 23 and the membership is diverse with respect to age and gender. A typical round can be played in 90 minutes or less. No electric carts are allowed.

Wicker Park Golf Course
"Great place to go have fun!"
This course is a fun and challenging course. I gave it 4 stars because no course is perfect. The only problem with this course is there is a lot of trees which means there are usually a lot of leaves on the ground, especially in the fall. You also have to think about the trees themselfs, because no matter what everybody tells you, trees are NOT 90% air.

"Seasonal member"
NEHGC is on the pleasant island of Mt.Desert in Downeast Maine. I live in Seal Harbor 6 mos. a yr and join the club as a seasonal member. The play is $255 and excludes June 26 thru Sept 6. It is by far the best deal on MDI and throughout the downeast region. The course is never crowded, and you can expect the service in the pro shop to be excellent. Beautifully maintained greens and fairways with the backdrop of surrounding mtns. and countryside make this course a well kept secret on busy MDI. Make a tee time after Sept. 30 to enjoy incredible foliage and ideal temperatures.

Quarry, The
"Golf Heaven"
This wonderful Tom Fazio design offers a truly great experience. It can only be played with a member. Don't worry about a starting time or slow play, the members are rare. I've been told that if you can find a weed in any fairway, they will give you a membership! ($175,000/player plus dues) Every hole has it's own personality and most (10) involve water. A desert design that requires accuracy off the tee, and a back nine into an old quarry up in the mountains, the course is very challenging, but has incredible views of Indio (All putts break that way.) Chances are that you won't get the opportunity to play this track, but if you do, don't miss it!
