Shawnee is a well rounded 9 hole course tucked in the outskirts of Sanborn, NY. Water hazards, sand traps, dog legged, narrow tree lined fairways, this course has it all. Excellent for beginner or young golfers, Shawnee is great place to practice fundamental skills, while it is still challenging enough to be alot of fun. This course can also be played by a foursome in about 2-3 hours, makeing it great for an after work golf outing. |

9 hole course (second set of tees if you play 18.) Great course for young or older golfers---longest par 4 is 300yds. Also a good track for mid to low handicappers to work on short irons-wedges...small, postage stamp greens make for tough approach shots. Fun, old course in the hudson valley (over 100 yrs old). Great views of Hudson River and United States Military Academy. Open to public during the week. |
