This is by far the best public course in Idaho. It has been redesigned and has a 17,600 sq. ft. clubhouse. The only reason it only get's 4 stars is cuz they have overpriced the locals. |

| Highland Golf Course -- This course gets tougher every year |

When we were in our late teens and 20's and refining our golf skills, we would play this course to test our nerves and agility. It was long, dusty, long (emphasis on long), and unforgiving. And did I say long? (especially when the famous Idaho wind blew). Now, the trees are huge, the fairways are fabulous, and the greens are as nasty as ever. Many of my friends simply cannot pass through Pocatello anymore without still stopping to play this course. Play both this course and Riverside, and you'll get a taste of the best golf in southern Idaho. |
