Saranac Inn Golf & Country Club -- *Great course, nice atmosphere*
Review by: C M	I haven't played here in a few years so I was very pleasently surprised to find the course in super shape. The layout is good with a few short par 4's and a few par 3's that require an acurate tee ball. The people were wonderful and our group is looking forward to our return trip this summer.

Sleepy Hollow Country Club - Eighteen Hole Course -- *High Quality Private Club*
Review by: ChasM	As a Brit abroad, I was lucky enough to receive a couple of invitations to play here. The whole experience was outstanding, from the service at the club to the course itself. The clubhouse is one of the more impressive around (probably only improved upon by my home course in the UK!). The track itself was in excellent condition and, as with other Tillinghast courses, was a good strategic challenge, although not as 'man-sized' as say Winged Foot West and Bethpage Black. More playable for someone of my ability and therefore perhaps as enjoyable.

Sand Ridge Golf Club
"Best of Ohio"
Sand Ridge is one of the best golf courses in the country. Even though greens are not all that fast they are always in perfect condition at all times of the year and the fairways are some of the best i have ever played from. The caddie program has some of the best and friendliest caddies in the nation.

Some of the holes are short but with the smaller greens and water meandering around the course it makes you think as to what club to scale back to as well as making sure you don't do too much slicing. Most of the holes you can hit right at the hole if you have a high 8,9 or PW. You have to be careful off the tee on some holes due to the water running across the fairway. The back nine has some undulating fairways. The largest green seems to be No. 18 and it slopes quite a bit downward from back to front. The fairway grass has gotten better over the years since it was known as SLOCUM golf course. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Woodcrest Country Club
"Woodcrest Country Club"
Woodcrest Country Club is not a long hitters course, but rather accuracy is rewarded. Woodcrest is famous for its rough, so keeping it in the Fairway is the play. Greens are smaller than the nouveau courses, but not the undulating and overly tricky type either. My friends who are low handicappers tell me that the course is tough but fair, and conservative play is best. Higher handicappers like me know the value of course management here.

Melrose Country Club
"Short but Tough"
I've been playing this course since I was 10 yrs old and have only parred it once. I have my only hole-in-one on the 7th hole which is a tough 203 yd par three. I have had many eagles on the par fives but always struggle with the tough par fours. It is a challenge and will probably always remain that way. Tight throughout the course layout. I love playing here!
