Buffalo Golf Course -- Great local value
Review by: The Huckster This is truly a great local Pittsburgh course. Well maintained and managed with interesting hole design. Not too long for the average or young golfer and just a fine course to develop your game. One of several fine, local courses which has a long family run tradition of keeping the game as it should be for all to enjoy.

Saxon Golf Course - Old Course -- Flattest course in Pittsburgh
Review by: Anonymous A unique experience for Pittsburgh area courses in that it very very flat. So a nice change of pace for the locals. Generally wide fairways are forgiving for tee shots but approach shots present a good challenge.

Buffalo Golf Course -- Nice Course, Good Value
Review by: Joe Golf Another of the great values in Western Pennsylvania, Buffalo is a perfect place to challenge yourself without pulling your hair out. Conditioning is generally quite good, although drainage in some areas definitely needs improvement. Nonetheless, most holes are interesting, and it plays reasonably easy, as long as you are shooting fairly straight. Highlights, for me, are the long Par 5 at #6 and the Par 3 at #17 (a real challenge, especially if the pin is placed on the right, towards the back of the green). This one is definitely worth a look.
