This is a well maintained nine hole course in Sauk Centre, MN. Those of us older golfers may harken back to the country club days when you get on this course. Fairways are average width on most holes, mature trees throughout the course and the greens tend to be on the smaller size but very nicely manicured. Price is about $20 and if passing through and only have time for nine holes would be worth the stop. |

Lynx National Golf Course is a bit different than many Minnesota resort golf courses in that its fairways are bordered by natural prarie grass rather than trees. This grass often gives the golfer a reasonable chance to recover from errant tee balls. The greens are large and offer many 3-putt opportunities, but they also provide a good short game test. The Lynx has tough holes and easy holes and if you can get by the toughies a career scoring day might be in store. |
