| University of Illinois Golf Course - Blue Course -- Blue Course improvements |
| Review by: Jeff Graham |
After playing at the Orange and Blue Courses for years now I would say come and play these courses for the following reasons.
1. The course has never been kept as good as it is
now. Bunkers have been rebuilt and quality
sand added.
2. Service is great from the clubhouse to the
starter. They will make every effort to
accomodate your needs.
3. Cost. You will not find any better golf for
the price. |

| University of Illinois Golf Course - Orange Course -- Windy and Turning |
| Review by: Fat Dan |
For less than $20, this course is all you could ask for. The first few holes are straight and pretty wide open. However, you start with a long par five and then go to a 3 with water in front. The remainder of the course winds its way through the existing landscape. Holes that are wide open are subject to the strong winds across the farm fields. Club selection is not as easy as one may think. The grounds crew does an acceptable job of maintaining the course as a whole. People playing this course are not looking for TPC quality, but it does offer a challenging afternoon of 18. |
