Plum Lake Golf Club

Plum Lake Golf Club -- Great Scenic Course
Review by: K.Risen Plum Lake is a fun little course and the layout is awesome. If you are an avid golfer you can shot low at Plum, but you can also find trouble. If you are in the area you must play this course atleast once, and if you can try to do it late in the afternoon during twilight, the couse gets quiet and it's fun.

Big Oaks Golf Club -- Below average rates, but below average conditions
Review by: RJB Pretty much what you’d expect from a sub $30 course. I would call the layout gently rolling. Tee boxes weren’t in good condition and some were not level in spots. Fairways were in decent condition, but greens were bad – more sand than grass at times (this could be due to our harsh summer this year, I may consider giving them another try sometime when weather conditions are better). Not many sand traps on the course, but the ones I noticed weren’t groomed and so were compacted like concrete. Overall it’s definitely playable as a cheap course but I wouldn’t consider it a ‘great value’ course – Its fees are consistent with its conditions.
