Woodland Golf Park -- Fun Course at Low Cost
Review by: Keith Mondy I had a great time playing Woodland. It's well kept, and that's said after playing it in February. I'd love to see it in the spring and summer. It's an exec course, and it's well worth the drive out of town (about three miles, but just call the club and they'll direct you). Fourteen holes, with the longest at about 340 yards, with large greens that offer good variety in pin placement. Only $10 for the round made it a pleasant experience.

Ron Jaworski's Garrison's Lake Golf Club -- Former Garrisons Lake member
Review by: Mike Burkey My family played Garrisons Lake Golf club during the late '60's and early 70's when Dot & Charlie Ewing owned the course. Then, the trees were small, but the long and well cared fairways and greens made the course challenging, especially for someone just getting started in golf. I have since moved to Texas where they only play bermuda greens and fairways. When I returned to attend my 25th HS reunion at Caesar Rodney (class of '67), I found the bent greens a delight. When in the Dover area, make it a point to play Garrisons Lake GC.
