Rainier Golf & Country Club -- *One of the best In Seattle area*
Review by: Aaron Heyer	Rainier Golf has everything for the family. Nice greens, beautiful fairways, ponds, and a great crew that takes care of it. It has an older clubhouse with French stying. Ron Proctor the last Superintendent, drove the course into a new direction by rebuiding all of the fairways, adding six to twelve inches of sand, drainage, and training the best crew to care for it. He kept up on new mowers, bringing high quality, cutting edge practices into the day to day maint. of the course. Rainier golf is worth the money. All done through two generations of golf Superintendent know how. Rainier is a links style layout, and challenging for everyone.

Review by: Mike	For a par-three course, this and the Battle Creek Par-3 course are top notch. I'm not one for playing par-3 courses, but when I have, this one is at the top of the list. Challenging layout. Maintained greens. Worth a try.

Twin Lakes Golf Club
"Hidden Golf Jewel In the Ozarks"
The Twin Lakes Golf Course is an 18 hole par 70 course with tree lined fairways and bentgrass greens. This is a semi-private course opeerated by its over 350 members. The course is open to the public on a daily fee basis. Visitors to the Twin Lakes area find this challenging course a delight. The information provided about this site on golfable.com is dated. The course has experienced significant upgrades in the last few years and provides a challenge for those used to wide open courses. "Great old classic"
Classic course. Elevation changes make the course play longer than the yardage. Fast smooth greens can be treacherous. A nice variety of shots is required.

San Jose Country Club
"Delightful Donald Ross Challange"
This private course was designed by Donald Ross to be a resort course in the early twentieth century. It was purchased after World War II by locals and formed into a club known as San Jose Golf and Country Club and has been sucessfully maintained as the private club since. It is the home course to many prominent Jacksonville residents. One must be a member or guest to play. It is a par 72. The greens are all adjacent to the tees, so that it can be walked easily. There are water hazards sprinkled throughout the course, which make it a dangerous layout for errant shots. The moderately fast greens are well maintained Burmuda and are sometimes puzzling with rolling configuration. A mature course--kept in excellent shape year-round.
