Cardinal Hills Golf Course -- Too much watering
Review by: Joe I played this course on July 31, 2005. We teed off at 10 am. The sprinklers were still watering over half of the course. Most of the greens were soaked, including the cup. We even had to play around a few sprinklers. I would not return to this course.

Hawthorns Golf & Country Club -- a real test of golf
Review by: anonymous the thing i like about this course is the fact that every hole has a different look to it . all hazards are visable from just about anywhere . the greens are contoured such that you need to be familiar with them in order to know where to approach them from . the course has a high slope rating which is very justified given the challenge of some of the long second shots and the challenging greens . the course is starting to have a different look to it with recent housing development , but given the setbacks it should still have the right feel to it for a top notch designer course . only objection i have is that the greens tend to get a little bumpy in mid season due to members and guests not being diligent in ball mark repair .
