This course can play vary hard at time, covered with trees and narrow fairways. The course is well maintained, and the scenery around the course is very nice. The par 3 4th is very nice with the patomac river running along side the hole. Every hole has a green that is somewhat tricky to read and makes for a nice tough round of golf |

Known to some locals as "Friendly Fountain" because of the staff's desire to do everthing they can do make your trip enjoyable. Situated just a few miles off of RT 460, this course offers a great countryside setting with fantastic views from the mountains. This course always seems to be in the best playable shape of any other courses in the area. Would give a five star rating if not for a couple of sharp, short doglegs on the front nine and a couple of severly sloped greens on the back. Overall, it's a great layout which is very well maintained by a very friendly staff. |
