Freeway Golf Course

Featured Golf Course Review:
Freeway Golf Course -- LONG KNOCKERS
Review by: backerman Freeway is a fun course for the beginner to the low handicapper. The first and ninth holes are close to 600 yards long. Not too much problem on the front nine. Relatively open so you can spray the ball around. The back nine is the antithesis. Narrow fairways with OB on 6 holes. Watch out for the sloping 14th green.

Kresson Golf Club -- no tee times= good, tee boxes = bad.
Review by: G Kresson is a good course to play if you are starting out, or want to work your game into shape early in the year. The greens are usually maintained fairly well, except the 17th which has water problems due to its proximity to the lake Kresson is built around, the green is usually very spotty or dead. Cannot putt it. The tee boxes keep this course from getting a higher rating from me. They are in terrible shape, and are not even cut lower than the least the ones that still have grass at all. For the price, Kresson is ok after 3:00 in the after noon. But before that on the weekend, its extremely overpriced for what it is, and usually crowded. A good beginner course, has the potential to be a really nice course. It is worth playing for the reasons I mentioned at the beginning of this review.
