Sidney Iowa Golf Courses

Fremont County Recreation Area

Featured Golf Course Review:
Fremont County Recreation Area -- Nice course for a rural area.
Review by: symphonicstan Fremont County Golf Course is a very nice 9-hole course right south of Sidney, Iowa. The new managers have continued to improve it each year. There are some delightful holes that can really challange most golfers. Bring a cart, because some of the rolling hills can be tiresome to walk.

Copper Creek Golf Course -- A Good Challenge
Review by: Sam Konchar This is a very fine course for the Des Moines Area. I often have a season pass and every time I play it is a challenge. The front nine is very forgiving, until the 9th hole, which is a dogleg right that has different elevations and a tree lined fairway. The back is much tighter and players can easily shoot high 40's and 50's if they don't watch themselves. It's a good challenge for any golfer.
