Holly Tree Country Club -- beautiful and testing
Review by: Aloysius Whaley Holly Tree offers a beatiful layout along rolling hills in Simpsonville. The holes are all unique with something special about each one that makes fun to play over and over. My favorite whole is number 17 because it is short dog leg left where ur first shot needs to be long and straight, and then its downhill from there with a short low approach onto a well protected green.

Furman University Golf Course -- Enjoyable
Review by: Paul A no frills, traditional design with a number of doglegs (right AND left), challenging Par 3 holes, and at a little hilly. Enjoyed the wide-landing areas on "driver" holes, while some holes dictated fairway woods or long irons off the tee. Par 5s can be reached in two, which can be fun. This is a course where you will probably post a better score the second time you play it due to several blind tee shots. Very friendly staff and pace of play was great. Hard to beat the cost for 18 holes; and being able to play in 70 degree weather in April for those of us from Michigan was an added bonus. I would play there again anytime I get the chance.
