Palmetto Golf Club -- historic lay out
Review by: Wesley This golf course dates to 1892. It is very old style and natural. Beautiful Par 3 s Some short par fours... some long par fours 3 par fives... two are reachable The entire club is old and understated and located off a small road in beautiful Aiken, S.C. The Club house was designed by Stanford White who did the clubhouse at Shinnecock Hills Visited by Ben Crenshaw regularly during Masters Golf Tournament. The club hosts The Palmetto Amateur in August of each year which is a prestigous regional event. Definitely a must play if you can get on.
