Living in the midst of legends like grossingers and the concord monster, Tarry Brae offers an equal genre style course at a much better value. Greens usually run fast and true, and the layout is niether quirky nor tricky. A traditional layout at a reasonable price. Game on! |

While the course is well-maintained, the layout is a bit wierd. It's kind of like a gimmick course. For example, on one hole on the back nine, there is a par four dogleg left where you must lay up with a 150-yard shot. Now how many pros do you see on TV taking 8 and 9 irons off of par four tees?
Overall, it is a very fun course to play as a guest, but I would never want to be a member there. |
